This SRM (safety related message) cable allows users to initiate a "safety related message" transmission. It also allows users to switch the device into Receive Only mode.

The SRM (safety related message) cable allows users to initiate a "safety related message" transmission. It also allows users to switch the device into Receive Only mode.
In Silent Mode Switching the AIS600 can be switched to silent mode via a remote single throw switch. (Not included)
When an SRM switch is installed closing the switch broadcasts a pan-pan urgency SRM. While the switch is closed the AIS600 will send the urgency message at a rate of one message per minute.
