The fixed extender gives you the correct height off the deck and the G-Hold gives tight retention for the trolling motor shaft. And what's more the support can be removed from the StarPort when not used clearing the deck for fishing. Other mounts are also available if the StarPort is not suitable for the application. An adjustable extender R-Lock can also be used where the shaft is offset from the mount.
