The 290w MHD Flexi solar panel combines shingled monocrystalline solar cells to deliver super efficient power generation with a tough ETFE top sheet for longevity and robust impact resistance. At just 2mm thick this ultra-lightweight panel is ideal for flat roofs as well as surfaces with a slight curve making it the perfect choice for camper vans and boat decks.

To ensure long term performance in the most extreme environments the panels are tested to ASTM B117 - ISO9227 for saltwater spray over 1000 hours as well as accelerated Ultraviolet (UV) testing to ISO 4892. The 290w solar panel comes with 2 x 0.9m connection cables fitted with MC4 connectors and 2 x 3m cable with MC4 connectors so the panels can be easily joined together to create a solar array. The panel is supplied with a 4-year module warranty.

A charge controller should be used with this panel to protect the battery from being overcharged and to prevent reverse of current drain.

Easy fix

The flexi range can be bonded to flat or slight curved surfaces (3cm curve per metre) such as painted aluminium metal GRP and fibreglass using Simson ISR 70-03.
